Is the thought of winter getting you down? Well your in luck, at Arbory Bar & Eatery there is no room for winter blues! Especially when the popular ‘Roast Collection’ dinners return for another year!
Arbory Bar & Eatery’s Executive Chef, Nick Bennett has teamed up with Sommelier Raul Moreno Yague (2017 Good Food Sommelier of the Year) and cult butcher Troy Wheeler from Meatsmith to serve up premium cuts of roasted artisan proteins alongside a perfectly paired glass of wine. For only $25, this amazing Roast Collection is available for lunch and dinner, throughout the three months of winter.
Each month will feature a new beast, and the dish served will vary each week (so you can go back for more). For June, the offering is pork paired with the 2015 Norton ‘Estate’ Pinot Noir from Richmond, Tasmania. In July, Bennett and his team will be dishing up beef, paired with the 2016 Palmetto Shiraz from Barossa Valley. And lastly, to finish off winter, lamb will be served in August to provide guests with a heart warming meal paired with the 2016 Paul Durdilly Beaujolais from Burgundy in France.
What’s more, throughout winter Arbory’s cocktail list runs hot serving up specially crafted warm winter cocktails. One of the favourites on the menu will be the Hot Buttered Bundy, made with bundaberg small batch rum, spiced butter, rum butterscotch and house made spice syrup. This cocktail will be served in a thermos, guaranteed to warm your insides.
Located between Platform 11 at Flinders St Station and the Yarra River, Arbory really is a picturesque spot to indulge in a hearty roast or hot cocktail. Perhaps for lunch before a show at the neighbouring Arts Centre or for dinner after the footy at the MCG. Be sure not to miss this experience!
