The Epicurean at Red Hill

Open for lunch, dinner, or just a casual coffee stop during a day out, this spacious café, restaurant and store complex is rich in history. The vast atrium style building is light and welcoming and boasts timber beams salvaged from the old Woolloomooloo wharf, creating a unique, light and welcoming vibe. For food, there is an a la carte restaurant or for a more casual experience, The Shed offers a range of pizza and pasta dishes using seasonal produce.  Before you leave, don’t forget to visit The Store which is jam-packed with tempting local produce and home-baked goods including home roasted coffee, pasta, cheeses, conserves and sauces. Green Olive Farm

Need a day out in the country air? Olive Farm is the perfect get your socks off place to spend a chilled out day, with plenty of tempting tapas on hand should you get peckish. This place is a smoke-free farm set amidst beautiful countryside where you may come across a chicken or two or a friendly pup looking for a pat. The endless tapas menu is all produced on the farm. Drinks and desserts are also tempting and include lemon and olive oil cake and rhubarb and apple crumble. Everything looks, smells and tastes like it is doing you good!

Merricks General Wine Store

This reconstructed 1920s general store now comprises a gallery, bistro and cellar-door produce store. With views to the coast from the front deck and the countryside from the back, this atmospheric venue will satisfy all preferences. Open for breakfast and lunch; this is a great place to stop after a wander around the Red Hill farmers market in the morning. From large plates to small bites, the French-inspired menu is fresh and exciting, with even a brekky salad or two. Worth a visit!
