If you happen to be bayside looking for a lunchtime nibble, then youre in luck Postcoder has narrowed the field down to Church Street in Brighton. This humming little strip has seaside charm (despite the fact there are no actual views of the sea whatsoever), plus oodles of lovely places to sit and feed your face.

S&G Surf Grill

Its fitting to start our caf selection with a place that hauls its lunchtime offerings from the nearby sea. S&G (or Surf Grill) is the place to hit when only creatures from the deep will do. S&Gs fresh burgers are the best, especially when stuffed with soft shell crab or a juicy barramundi fillet. And they really cater to the fit crowd with Healthy Gym Packs, for those tanned and terrific customers who need to keep it lean!

Acai Bros.

Well and truly on the good food wagon are the Acai Bros. Their bright and beautiful little caf is where all the clean eaters head when needing a food fix. The menu is a hit list of all the current super foods packed into any number of trendy little treats. The main attraction here is the bowls, though. You can order an acai bowl right off the menu (the Raw Nutella is a hit) or build your own and throw any number of extras on top (think cacao nibs, chia seeds, bee pollen and almonds).

Half Moon

Half Moon is a crowd pleaser. With a recent upgrade and natty new fit out, this place has the casual cool vibe going strong. There are six drinking and dining spaces to choose from including indoor and outdoor areas. And the menu is easy to love with an international vibe that caters to all tastes and the wine list will boggle your tiny mind.

White Rabbit

With its sunny yellow exterior and outdoor seating, White Rabbit is a cheery lunchtime stop. The menu makes a play for all tastes offering yummy thin crust pizzas and burgers alongside more sophisticated and seasonal fare. Best of all its family friendly and kids love the front row action of being seated next to the train line!
