Before 2015, very few walls were adorned with giant double-decker ice cream cones, towering bananas or smiling suns. And even fewer were glowing. Today, thousands of homes and shops have been brightened up by Electric Confetti.
Based in Brighton, Electric Confetti founder, Natalie Jarvis designs and crafts her unmistakably bright, cheery and cheeky wall art with LED neon flex. Her fascination began with traditional neon but the flex alternative can be more easily shaped, it’s low wattage and it can’t shatter. The result is a neon-look sign that’s small enough to hang in the home and safe enough to hang anywhere.
After completing research and development, the fun part could begin. With a background in design and illustration, Natalie was well-equipped to develop her own sign designs. Just two years on, that first collection of designs has already become iconic. Electric Confetti signs have appeared in countless editorials and Instagram is flooded with snaps of the signs lighting up walls around the world.
The shop front in Brighton and the online shop are well-stocked with ready-made signs, but a huge part of Natalie’s day revolves around custom work. You can come to her with a developed idea or let Natalie work her magic to transform a vague vision into something amazing. She’s done personalised name signs, endless food puns for cafes, illuminated wedding backdrops and more.
And we haven’t even mentioned the best part: Electric Confetti signs don’t break the bank. Part of Natalie’s plan from day one was to make her neon signs accessible and affordable for anyone who wanted to brighten up their space.
