Truffles have arrived at Gertrude Street’s Añada Bar and Restaurant. This Saturday, the 11th of August, Head Chef Maria Kabal will plate up an extravagant four-course lunch, designed around the earthy delicacy in collaboration with Stomping Ground and Truffle Melbourne.
Guests will graze on an array of truffled tapas to start including; truffled mushroom, goats curd, buckwheat & hazelnut; huevos rotos, potato, confit yolk, salmon roe, truffle; and venison tartare, macadamia ajo blanco, avruga, truffle.
Raciones (share-style dishes) will showcase pan fried baby snapper, truffled pil pil, olive, fermented turnip, sea herbs with fennel, mandarin, dill and followed by the third course of the day oxtail, celeriac, smoked egg yolk sauce, truffle with charred brussel sprouts, chestnut & truffle.
Truffles will also shine in the dessert with dishes of artichoke and white chocolate ganache, and black sesame ice cream, milk granita and truffle.
The afternoon will take place inside the intimate dining room of Añada, where guests will sink into the neighbourly vibe of Fitzroy.
