South Stradbroke Island Camping

With three campsites on the island, South Straddie is a great place to camp if youre looking for peace and privacy. An island of untouched native bushland and 22 kilometres of pristine surf beach, South Straddie has been a Gold Coast favourite for years. If you go camping between June and October, youre also likely to see migrating whales heading north to breed. With a kiosk and licensed cafe called Tipplers, South Straddie is an exciting camping location. But make sure you bring all necessary supplies with you as the island is not commercialised.
