Ensuring at least 90% of her products are certified organic, and utilising a range of raw produce, Nadine Shuma has established a highly loved and successful skincare range of products which are loved around the world. Born of Tanzanian heritage, Nadine sought to infuse her mothers love and passion for natural skincare into a range of products which she could share with her friends, family, and the world.
And thats exactly what shes done.
Nadine Shuma is of Tanzanian-Australian heritage, and from a young age was taught by her mother the importance of daily moisturising and skin care using natural products.
After making her own organic, natural skincare products for herself for over 10 years previous, in 2014 Nadine decided to take the leap and started producing her products for a wider audience. After receiving ample feedback and encouragement over the years from her friends and family to whom she gifted her products, Nadine has refined her formulas to perfection, balancing the organic products with fresh fragrances.
Motivated at first by the high prices for quality skincare products, Nadine saw a market opportunity: I didnt understand why a tiny jar of face cream would cost $50, and I knew that some of the ingredients were not that beneficial. However, the choice to turn her hobby into her primary occupation wasnt easy.
After taking a break from her corporate career and the long hours that accompany it, Nadine was faced with a choice: go back to work in the corporate realm, or take the leap and turn her hobby into a business she was passionate about.
Driven by the desire to bring joy into the lives of others, Nadine made the leap.
And the world is a better place for it.
Working from her hometown of Adelaide, Nadines Nzuri Organics is lovingly homemade and shipped internationally. Meaning beautiful in her Tanzanian tongue of Swahili, Nzuri is a suitably fitting name.
